12/15/11 -- Just received word through email of Marilyn's death two days ago. As she had told me in an email as recent as Nov. 4, she was very appreciative of the card that was signed at our reunion. Her battle with pancreatic cancer required an exhaustive regiman of natural treatment. Surgery and chemo were not options, she had said. I am so sad for the family, and for us as classmates, to have lost another member. R.I.P., Marilyn.
